We want to remind you that several CAASPP online systems are scheduled for downtime in preparation for the new school year. Overall, the downtimes will be Friday, August 26, at 5 p.m. through Sunday, September 11, at 11:59 p.m. Specifically, they are scheduled as follows:
- August 26 through September 6—TOMS and the Online Reporting System (ORS), including Completion Status
- August 26 through September 11—Test Delivery System, Test Administrator Interface, Appeals and Roster Management System, Interim Assessment Viewing System, and Interim Assessment Hand Scoring System (IAHSS)
Please remember, during the downtime, all user roles with access to students’ personally identifiable information will be deactivated.
Once TOMS is again available, student demographic changes from the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) and test settings made in TOMS may take up to three days to populate across all systems, and the information may take 24–48 hours to update in the Test Delivery System after all systems are back online. (Such changes made during the downtimes also may take 24–48 hours to update)
On Monday morning, September 12, all systems will be available, and interim assessment administration can begin for 2016–17.
